Lauren seemed to feel better today. Her nauseousness was gone and she was less tired. The pain in her chest is still there. I was upstairs and yelled down to her today and she didn't answer. I heard a mower outside, but I figured it was our neighbor. I looked outside and she was zipping around the back yard on the tractor mowing the yard. I did a little trimming in the back with the push mower. I think the last time I mowed was probably 5 years ago or longer. I noticed the push mower was red and I told Wo I thought our mower was green. She said that was our old one. She said we gave that to Sis and Bruce when they first moved into their house. Shows how much I pay attention to stuff like that. It was really hot so we put on our bathing suits and got in the pool. Very refreshing but still a little too cold. We floated around for a bit and it got cloudy. We got out because we were cold and then went in to a freezing house. I am not complaining. Our air broke last year and we suffered a good part of the summer sweating so much. We got a new furnace and AC this year and are loving it.
Here is a little video I uploaded so you can see our pool and backyard. This was taken by Mark last year. He is standing in the kids' clubhouse.
Lauren and Gio had a Date Night tonight. They went and bought a big ottoman/table for the living room at Gio's new house and went to dinner at Don Pablos. I am posting a picture of Wo and Gio. They are such a cute couple and he has been so supportive, loving, and caring of Lauren through this whole thing. I hear it thundering. I think we are in for a thunderstorm. Until next time...

Thanks Cindy. We don't know what we would do without you and all of our other CC friends.

So glad you got good news on Lauren's blood counts and liver function Pam. I agree they are a really cute couple. I love your garden and pool! Nobody has pools here in Ireland, considering our rate of rainfall and cold! I'm jealous!! xx
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear from you, Deb. I hope you are feeling a tiny bit better. I know it will be a long road, but I'm here to help. Does it ever get hot in Ireland? It has been exceptionally warm this year. All the trees and flowers bloomed really early. Take care.

We had a couple of beautiful sunny days this weekend Pam but the weather here is totally and utterly unpredictable. We had our heating on for a few hours two days last week and then we were in shorts and t-shirts the following two days!! It's generally mild but overcast here. Emotionally, we're up and down. Some days are very hard but the children keep me going. xxx
